Local Air Show Brings in National Media Exposure Travel Channel and Liberto Media Group Plan To Attend

Wings Over North Georgia is hosting one of the world's largest air shows this year in the small town of Rome, Georgia. This is an announcement of their current media exposure.

The Wings Over North Georgia Air Show, (WONG), the premier air show in aviation for the southeast this fall has a lot to be excited about. Two incredible national media groups are coming to take part in this years air show. John Cowman, the President of JLC AirShow Management is shocked at how the Rome, Georgia air show is shaping up. "First of all we knew we had incredible Jet Teams, Air Stunt performers, a Jet Car and incredible excitement on the ground, but now we have two national media groups wanting to come in and film the two day event. How cool is that?"

Just to host the Travel Channel television series BBQ Crawl is exciting by itself and "Diva Q" will be making her rounds at the Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned event, the Smoke-n-Thunder BBQ classic included at the WONG air show. But now the sandy haired, Air Force veteran Cowman is excited about a possible air show series starting at Rome's Richard B. Russell Regional Airport on October 12-13, 2013. With his cowboy boots polished and an excitement in his voice, Cowman states, "We were contacted by the Libero Media Group about attending and filming a sizzle reel for a reality TV series centered around the air show industry. We are just three weeks away from the most exciting event in the North Georgia area and the rest of the US will soon recognize just how great the WONG air show has become."

Besides three premier Demo Teams including the Black Diamond Jet Team, there will be eight other aerobatic Demo Teams performing during this event. Included will be Stunt Performances, Jump Teams, Aerial Comedy, two War Bird Demonstrations, as well as the Bill Braack Jet Car that travels between 0-400 mph in 8.5 seconds. "What you are looking at is about five hours of continuous excitement and entertainment. This is the best bang for your buck," according to Cowman.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at www.wingsovernorthgeorgia.com at a discount prior to the show date.
