Lambourn Based PR Firm, In Press, Celebrates 20 Years In Business

Berkshire-based, technical marketing agency, In Press. celebrates 20 years in business this Spring. Accountability and quality of service are key to the agency's success.

Lambourn-based PR firm, In Press is celebrating its 20th anniversary this Spring. The agency, set up by Managing Director Eileen Holmes-Ievers, provides a full marketing communications package to companies in the industrial, scientific and engineering industries. Services include business-to-business press relations, design and specialised internet marketing providing organisations with highly valued sales leads and an improved presence in their niche market area.

"Accountability and quality of service are just two of the qualities that have meant In Press has stayed at the top of its game." explains Eileen. "We have seen many changes in marketing techniques over the past 20 years and have ensured that all our clients have been able to take advantages of these advances. We were one of the first technical agencies to have a website and to communicate with our clients via email and today we implement sophisticated marketing campaigns using both online and offline media. We work together with our customers to achieve an agreed set of objectives and are seen as part of the team ensuring that these objectives are met using the most appropriate marketing techniques."

Another major part of In Press's success is its specialisation. Eileen again: "We made a conscious effort when we first started to stay true to our technical roots." All In Press staff have technical degrees and so are able to understand a client's products and services. "This means our customers spend less time having to brief us about the technical features and benefits of their equipment and more time following up the leads are marketing generates."

Due to its technical niche and specialist expertise, In Press, based in St John's Chapel in Lambourn has clients based all over the country. "Lambourn is the ideal location." says Eileen. We have easy access North and South via the A34 and East and West, thanks to the M4. Clients also choose to come us so they can have a day in the country, avoiding the hustle and bustle of a city centre or business park location. Plus we have many great pubs to choose from to take them for lunch!"

The staff at In Press predict that they will see even more changes over the next 20 years. Chris Bose, Head of Internet Services, expects the mobile phone will be the next big phenomenon in marketing. "With smart phone technology becoming more sophisticated and being used for consumer marketing, it won't be long before the techniques move into business to business communications." While Denis Bulgin, Head of PR, sees Social Media sites such as Twitter and Quora becoming the 'norm' for contacting both journalists and customers direct.

2011 is expected to be another good year for In Press with all clients reaping the benefits of proactive, imaginative and workable marketing solutions.
