Kyong Wilson's impressive background in leadership roles, both professionally and within her community, made her an ideal candidate for the high profile position. Since the 1980's Kyong has exclusively held vice-president or present positions within her companies. Outside of her office, she has volunteered her time, holding leadership and management roles at many non-profit and charitable organizations throughout Connecticut. The District 7890 Rotary covers Northern Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. As District Governor, Kyong will be responsible for 60Rotary Clubs and approximately 2,300 members. The area includes Hartford, the capital of Connecticut, and Springfield, the third largest city in Massachusetts. Included within its boundaries are Pratt and Whitney Jet Engines, Travelers and Aetna Insurance and Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Companies. The Rotary Foundation is run entirely by volunteers.
