Jori Parys, 15 Year Old Singing and Acting Sensation, Signs With Harris Image Management For Representation

Online, November 12, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Jori Parys, one of the country's hottest new singing and acting sensations at only 15 years of age, signed this past week with Los Angeles publicity and image management company, Harris Image Management. Parys, still in high school in Illinois, where she is, among other things, a popular singer and accomplished actress, is prepping for the release of her first album, due in early 2010. After already experiencing great success in her home region where she is a frequent performer on both the musical and acting stages, this album is expected to catapult Parys into the national limelight. Parys, a three- time winner in the Miss Illinois pageant system, is ready to prove that she is more than just a pretty face. 2010 is likely to be a breakout year for the young singer-actress as she is also expected to begin spending more of her time in Los Angeles with a greater focus on her film and television career as well.

"I am absolutely thrilled about the things on the calendar for me in the coming few months," Parys said. "It's almost like a dream in a way. I have been performing ever since I can remember, so getting to this level, with an album coming out, music videos, and the chance to get time in front of some key people in L.A., and spend time auditioning for television and movies, is so unreal. I just love singing and acting and I just want to be able to keep doing it."

Parys' album, under the Vectordisc Records label, will be largely a Pop album, though she has proven her ability to sing in a number of different categories having
performed on stages and at arenas all around the Chicago area for the last few years. Singing is Parys' first love but having extensive experience on the stage as an actress has also given her the desire to pursue a dual career utilizing both her talents. Parys, not unlike some of her favorite stars, such as Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, is one of those rare talents that is equally good in a recording booth as on a set acting.

Being a long way from Hollywood, in her suburban Chicago hometown, Parys will have the added challenge of finishing up school while trying to maintain a sense of normalcy while Hollywood sets are calling and her songs are being played around the country. But it is a challenge she has prepared for her whole life.

"I don't get caught up in all that," she says. "I just know I love my life and my family and all I want to do is be happy and make them proud. We're a strong family so they'll help me stay focused. And the good part about being here right now is that there is no way I'll get caught up in all the glitz. I just want to have fun and hopefully make a difference to other people along the way."

At 15 years old, Parys already has. And in a matter of months her influence is going to be spreading exponentially.
