The hotel is offering a 'from $99' rate on hotel rooms for guests attending upcoming Surfers Paradise events, such as the Surfers Paradise Festival that begins 2 April and runs through 26 April. The Surfers Paradise Festival kicks off this week with the Street Parade at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, 2 April. There are lots of great events throughout the month-long festival, but some of the highlights are Launch It and Surf, Seafood & Symphony.
Launch It, which runs from Friday, 4 April to Sunday, 6 April, is a three-day beach concert. Tickets for Friday night are $37.75 (includes booking fee and processing charge), and passes are available for the rest of the weekend, which run $50 a person.
New for this year's festival, Surf, Seafood & Symphony features a daylong food showcase from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., 12 April. Top chefs from Surfers Paradise restaurants will provide cooking demonstrations, and visitors can nosh on yummy dishes, most under $10. Starting at 7 p.m., the Gold Coast Philharmonic Orchestra, accompanied by vocalists Greg Moore and Kimberly Hodgson, will play on the beach.
