Bay Pointe Ballet Announces Debut at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center
November 3, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Bay Pointe Ballet, the new 32 member professional ballet company lead by internationally acclaimed Artistic Director Bruce Steivel, announces their inaugural season. The premiere performance will be the family holiday favorite The Nutcracker with choreography by Bruce Steivel. Beautiful and elaborate sets and costumes by Russian designer Alexandre Vassiliev never before seen on the Peninsula will accentuate the production.
The premiere performances will be held at the newly renovated state of the art San Mateo Performing Arts Center in San Mateo. The center has ample free parking, beautiful new foyer, a new balcony section, new and improved facilities, new seats and an improved sound system. It is easily accessible from highway 101 and all surrounding areas on the Peninsula.
Bring the entire family and enjoy this enchanting evening including a battle scene between the Nutcracker Prince and Mouse King, dancing Snow Flakes, a waltz of the Flowers and a Sugar Plum fairy and her Prince.
