ING Vysya Bank Wins Four Awards
ING Vysya Bank has won three international awards & one national-level award in June 2014
Online, July 1, 2014 (Newswire.com) - ING Vysya bank has recently won four awards out which three of them are international awards, contested by financial services firms both in India and abroad. The bank has won these awards under various categories including project governance, technology and product development.
At a recently concluded event at Kuala Lumpur, ING Vysya Bank was adjudged the Best Governance Risk and Compliance Project - Single Country. The awards, instituted by The Asian Banker, were keenly contested by participants from 32 countries.
The bank also received the Best Mobile Reference project worldwide award from IBM at Las Vegas this May. ING Vysya was adjudged winner for launching their unique mobile banking app on various platforms like iOS, Android and Windows.
The bank has also recently won the Innovator of the Year - Asia Pacific award at the NetApp annual innovation awards where over 24 countries participated. NetApp Innovation Awards program relies on a third-party panel of international judges for the four main categories.
The bank bagged MasterCard Innovation Awards at the recently concluded MasterCard Payments Strategy Conference at Goa; under two categories: Best Debit Card Program and Best Usage Program. There were about 65 entries from over 30 banks and there were 15 awards given out across nine categories.
