Icon Construction Wins Modular Building Contract For Fort Meyer Base Expansion

Online, October 2, 2010 (Newswire.com) - ARLINGTON, VA---Icon Construction wins a base improvement contract from the U.S. Army's Contracting Command. The 2,100 square-foot modular facility is an expansion of the U.S. Army Ceremonial Band Building. The existing building cannot accommodate the some 106 soldiers because of limited space and excessive humidity. The modular facility will provide band personnel locker storage and an area to change and prepare for performances. Icon Construction will oversee this project from inception to completion including site preparation, grading, excavation, concrete foundation, steps, decks, sidewalks and utility preparation.
