IAOP "Embracing Change" with 2011 Outsourcing World Summit

Former SEC Acting Chairman Laura Unger Among Guest Speakers at 14th Annual Conference

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - With outsourcing growing and continuing to take on critical importance as a management practice during difficult economic times, the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (lAOP®) will focus on "Embracing Change" at The 2011 Outsourcing World Summit®.

The annual summit will explore "How Outsourcing Professionals Can Lead their Companies to Success in this New Outsourcing Landscape" during the world-renowned conference Feb. 21-23, 2011 at the Renaissance Esmeralda, Indian Wells, California. More than 500 customers, providers and advisors of outsourcing services are expected to attend the 14th annual event.

Laura Unger, former acting chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and commentator for PBS' Nightly Business Report, will deliver a keynote address on "The Global Financial System & How to Restore Confidence in Financial Markets."

Unger was sworn in as SEC Commissioner in 1997 and served as Acting Chairman from February to August 2001. Her main focus was the impact of technology on the securities industry, where she evaluated how the Commission could optimize the benefits of technology for the capital markets and investors.
