HPV Infection Higher Among Female Smokers

A New Study from Irish Researchers Shows Women Who Smoke Have Higher Risk of HPV Infection

According to new research that the Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD) has learned was funded by the Irish Cancer Society, "women who smoke are at greater risk of contracting a Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection."

In, it was stated that "The study was led by Irish Cancer Society research scholar Christine White, and the CERVIVA research consortium, which is headed by Professor John O'Leary and Dr Cara Martin at Trinity College and the Coombe Women and Infants University Hospital."

The CBCD points out that the study mentioned above is actually part of a larger CERVIVA study that happens to be evaluating various ways to make the management of women with persistent low-grade cervical smears better.

The study put emphasis on over a thousand women "with detectable nicotine metabolite, which is called cotinine, in their urine sample "were at a higher risk of acquiring a HPV infection than those who were not exposed to tobacco smoke".

According to this Irish study, "37 per cent of smokers and 43 per cent of heavy smokers (>10 cigarettes per day) compared to 24 per cent of non-smokers developed a high grade cervical pre-cancer."

The CBCD therefore urges women to stop smoking as just one method of enhancing their overall health and as a means of lessening the risk of HPV infection.

HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection. In fact, According to the CDC, over 20 million people in the U.S. are infected with the Human Papillomavirus. Since HPV is transmitted through any skin-to-skin contact, you don't have to have sex in order to become infected with the virus.

That's why many young people call HPV, "stuff that gets up around the sides of condoms."

Once you get many viral diseases, it's for life. Some of those include Herpes as well as HIV.

They don't go away.

You can, however, go for life without symptoms...and you can help prevent spreading the diseases these viruses cause. How do you do it? It's done by lowering the load of latent viruses within the body. When the number of viruses in your body is lowered to the point that you might as well not have them at can remain symptom free.

"The key to your health is to reduce the level of the latent viruses in your body to harmless levels." - Dr. Hanan Polansky

Although the CDC says that in 90% of cases, the body's immune system clears HPV naturally within two years, sometimes the body has trouble clearing the virus. In these instances, symptoms such as genital warts or dangerous cervical changes can occur.

Gene-Eden-VIR is the only scientifically based, all natural, herbal supplement with scientific studies published in the U.S. National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health. It has been specifically designed and formulated to boost the body's own immune system in order to counter many of the latent viruses of today, including the Genital Warts virus.

The truth is, Gene-Eden-VIR is really efficient against the latent version of the virus that causes genital warts; each ingredient was chosen through a scientific approach. PolyDNA scientists scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals around the world in order to identify the safest, most effective natural ingredients that target the latent (sleeping)HPV Virus.

Gene-Eden-VIR is totally safe, and in a post marketing study, there are no reports of side effects. In addition, it has been on the market for over three years and no side effects were reported by users during that entire time. Each capsule contains a patented formula of five all natural ingredients including selenium, camellia sinesis extract, quercetin, cinnamomum extract, and licorice extract. In addition, each bottle is GMP Certified.

The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD, is a research center recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-for-profit organization. The mission of the CBCD is to advance the research on the biology of chronic diseases, and toaccelerate the discovery of treatments for these diseases.

The CBCD published the "Purple" book entitled "Microcompetition with Foreign DNA and the Origin of Chronic Disease" written by Dr. Hanan Polansky. The book presents Dr. Polansky's highly acclaimed scientific theory on the relationship between the DNA of latent (chronic) viruses and the onset of chronic diseases. Dr. Polansky's book is available as a free download from the CBCD website.

We invite biologists, virologists, and scientists everywhere to download Dr. Polansky's book here:
