Hessgen, Inc. To Open New Production Facility

Hessgen, Inc., a San Diego based manufacturer of emissions reduction and monitoring technology, announces it's new production facility in Ensenada, Mexico, and its plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Mexico and other countries.

Hessgen, Inc., an innovative leader in emissions technologies and real time emissions reporting, plans to begin production of its on demand hydrogen fuel management system in a state of the art production facility located in Ensenada, Mexico, in 2011.

Hessgen's Founder and Chief Technical Officer, Brian Hess, made the announcement after the conclusion of meetings with high-level Mexican Government officials from the region. "The opportunity to create new jobs producing a technology that lowers the emissions of motor vehicles in a region that is working towards a cleaner infrastructure is a perfect fit for Hessgen."

Vehicles produce at least 50% of the planet's greenhouse gases. The Hessgen System, when installed on diesel or conventional engines, mixes hydrogen with the vehicle's native fuel source, increasing fuel efficiency by more than 20 percent and reducing greenhouse gas emissions by over 30 percent. The unit is accompanied by an emissions monitoring system that uses communications technology to capture and calculate real time emissions data. That data, when relayed to the Hessgen Central Data and Technology Center, is then compared to global emissions benchmarks to create and certify emissions offset credits for each vehicle using the Hessgen System.

Hessgen publicly introduced its on demand hydrogen fuel system by entering a 700 hp "trophy truck" that runs on a mix of hydrogen and race fuel in the grueling Baja 500, an annual an off-road race that takes place on Mexico's Baja California Peninsula in early June.. Hess, the inventor of the Hessgen system, wanted to prove that the system was safe, durable and capable of lowering emissions and increasing fuel economy under any conditions. After 22 hours of the most grueling race conditions found anywhere, the system crossed the finish line -- proving the Hessgen System safe and successful.

Hess continued, "Hessgen Systems, when installed on Mexican trucking fleets, will reduce greenhouse gas emissions making a notable difference in the country's overall ecological footprint. By the end of 2011, we at Hessgen expect to have several thousand systems deployed in Mexico."

The coming year for Hessgen is expected to be one of expansion and growth. Early in 2011, the Hessgen systems will begin to roll off the manufacturing line bound for many corners of the globe. Fleets of trucks that currently pour out millions of tons of pollutants each year in Mexico, Turkey, Germany, the United States, China, and New Zealand have all been earmarked for a reduction of their emissions after the installation of the new Hessgen Systems.

Hessgen, Inc. is making a business out of making a difference. Its stock is traded on the Deutsche -Borse Exchange in Germany under Hessgen Canada, Inc.
