Garden Bird Supplies Is Proud To Announce Simon King Joining Their Team

Online, November 13, 2012 (Newswire.com) - At the ripe age of ten years old, Simon King stepped on to the screens in The Fox and from then on has taken it in his stride, and his pride, to become one of nature's finest attributes. Most recognised for his appearances on shows like the BBC's Springwatch and Autumnwatch, which he co-presents, Simon King is now taking his steps just that little bit further with Wildlife Whisperer, an online community built to connect people all across the world. Through Wildlife Whisper he will be joining them in their passions for watching, photographing and filming the natural world.

Garden Bird Supplies is even more pleased to announce that Simon King will be joining them from this month on thanks to his recent work on Wildlife Whisper. There will be a live question and answer page featured on their Facebook, in which Simon will be answering questions from the public and anyone with a need for knowledge - his wonderful advice will be given to those all across the globe who get in touch thanks to social networking. He will also be working for the Garden Bird Supplies magazine, answering letters and offering his advice.

Simon's life has taken him near and far, with his birth in Nairobi to his childhood in Bristol, his passion for travel has only grown with age. Because of this, Simon has travelled to every continent, and lived in extreme conditions from the freezing Arctic wilderness to the wild and sandy deserts.

In November of 2010, Simon was appointed President of the Wildlife Trusts. At 47 years old, Simon is the youngest ever person to take Presidency in the 98 years that the organisation has been running. However, with his extensive knowledge and passion for wild animals, it comes as no surprise Simon was given this position. Along with his many BAFTAs and EMMYs, Simon King is the greatest new addition to the Garden Bird Supplies team.
