Galgotias University Kicks Off Its Star Galgotian Campaign

Online, June 2, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Galgotias University, a co-educational private university in Greater Noida (NCR), Uttar Pradesh, has launched its Star Galgotian campaign in the month of May. The campaign's vision is to honour the triumphs of their alumni members who have gone on to work wonders in their professional lives.
The campaign endeavours to highlight the accomplishments of the alumna/us who have demonstrated the high ideals imparted by the university. Amit Ganguli, a topper from the 2002 (B.E) batch, got placed with I-flex Solutions (now Oracle) to later shift to Microsoft. A gifted orator, Amit was a speaker at technology events of SAP and Microsoft conclaves. He got offers from Microsoft, Deloitte and HUL. Not just academically, Amit was also vocal about the anti-ragging issue and instrumental in starting Cricket tournament.
Jay Pratap secured 27 gold medals for his contribution in the area of scientific research. He was facilitated with the Vigyaan Chakra by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, in 2011 and Faradays Phenomenon Breaking Award from British Prime Minister David Cameron in the 2012. Currently working on 59 projects, dedicated to modern technology in the Research Lab, Jay Pratap continues to strive for excellence in his field.
The musical Star Galgotians Ankit Godle and Utkarsh Dev started the Soul Raaga Band with their first album, "Sufi Electronica Project" in 2014.Sufi Electronica Project was an experimental genre by Ankit Godle and Utkarsh Dev started in January 2014. The band earned a growing fan-base in the underground music community and critical acclaim for its first album Sufi Electronica Project in late March 2014.
