Future Electronics Offers Vishay's 293D Extended Series of Solid Tantalum Chip Capacitors
Future Electronics electronic components, offers the TR3 and 293D extended series of solid tantalum chip capacitors.
April 27, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, offers the TR3 and 293D extended series of solid tantalum chip capacitors.
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. has extended its TANTAMOUNT low-ESR TR3 and standard industrial-grade 293D series of solid tantalum surface-mount chip capacitors with higher ratings up to 75 V in the B, C, D, E, V, and W case sizes.
The industry's first 75 V molded tantalum capacitors, the Vishay Sprague devices are designed to meet the derating requirements of 50 % rated voltage in +28 V and +35 V applications. With higher voltages in high-reliability molded cases, the series includes standard industrial-grade devices offered in six case sizes, and low-ESR devices offered in seven case sizes.
Benefits include a voltage range from 4 V to 75 V; temperature range of -55 °C to +85 °C, to +125 °C with voltage derating; meets the new EIA-717 international qualification specification — in addition to EIA 535BAAC and IEC QC300801/US0001; a Moisture Sensitivity Level of 1; and compatibility with high-volume pick-and-place equipment to simplify assembly.
Market applications include decoupling in 75 V applications and power supplies at +28 V, and DC/DC conversion at +35 V; sensor, industrial control, and airborne applications, in addition to telecommunications base stations.
