Willing to share a package or charter?
After many inquiries from individuals and small groups looking to join with others in a package or charter to reduce cost, the Great Sailfishing Company has started a program to make the experience more affordable.
The trip is planned as a 4-night/3-day fishing trip based on the following two alternatives (fishing days):
November 20-22, 2009
March 20-22, 2010
These are prime fishing days early in the new moon phase and not dates to "fill their calendar." If interested, please e-mail for more details.
If you do decide to combine with others, this is what the Great Sailfishing Company guarantees:
Accommodation will be either in a 3/4 bedroom private villa or at the Soleil Resort. Each angler will have his/her own bedroom and in most cases each angler will have his/her own bathroom.
All meals and drinks are included - so no sharing of bar tabs or unexpected bills at the end. You pay up front and there are no other charges (tips are discretionary).
Final night will be at the Marriott/Barcelo in Guatemala City on a room-only basis.
Generally there are 4 anglers per group/boat, but it may be up to 6 per boat - we will advise at the time of booking. Cost per single angler is approximately $2,500 for a 4-night/3-day fishing package and includes transfers, accommodation, meals and drinks (including alcoholic drinks),even a couple of nice cigars per angler.
