Renowned clock enthusiast & collector, the late Mr. Doug Farley of Florence, AL leaves an impressive antique clock and time piece collection to be sold ABSOLUTE at his Estate Auction Sept. 24th.
Online, September 16, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Horology enthusiasts will not want to miss this Rare Antique Clock Auction Thursday, September 24, 2009, 12:00 Noon (cst) from the Estate of the late Mr. Doug Farley, Florence, AL. Mr. Farley was former President of the Rocket City Regulators #61 and a long time member of the NAWCC.
Mr. Farley restored and donated the large clock tower that once stood atop the Lauderdale County Courthouse in AL (appraised at $40k) to the Underwood-Petersville Community Center, just North of Florence, AL. This will be location of his Estate Auction, selling out his rare and highly collectible antique clocks and pocket watches.
