Downtown Galveston is abuzz with new shopping options! The Scentimental Perfumery by Valerie Villarreal and Texas Cowgirl are leasing newly renovated space from Mitchell Historic Properties in the Dargan and Tobyn building and Old Galveston Square respectively on the Strand near the newly opened Cariloha and Del Sol near Saengerfest Park.

The Scentimental Perfumery by Valerie Villarreal opens on Sat., June 15. The shop is the newest addition to the Old Galveston Square family of shops at 2211 Strand near the intersection of 23rd and Strand. Scentimental Perfumery specializes in affordable luxury and exquisite perfumes, body washes, lotions, and more created by skilled perfumer Valerie Villarreal. Her blends include recreations of high dollar scents at affordable prices.

Texas Cowgirl will open on June 29 with a grand opening celebration on July 4 in the Dargan & Tobyn building at 2226 Strand near the intersection of 23rd and Strand. The shop features Texas branded items ranging from housewares and home goods to clothing and accessories. Texas Cowgirl is an excellent shopping option for out-of-state visitors to collect Texas themed memorabilia and gifts.
