Online, May 7, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The evening of 8th March 2014 saw the creation of a history of sorts. The occasion - the launch of the biography of Shri Satyapal Sugandhi and the inauguration of D S Group's new corporate headquarters.
90,000 square feet of D S Group's newest office premises were converted into an exclusive experience zone for 800 special guests, replete with an imposing tower of music standing all of 16 feet tall with 12 musicians from across India performing on 12 different instruments in symphony, 330 running feet of living walls which dotted the landscape and a special 100 feet x 100 feet air-conditioned hangar that served gourmet cuisine to the guests.
The show, hosted by none other than television star Harsh Chhaya opened with a stunning audio-visual presentation that charted out the 100-year history of the D S Group on a gigantic 80 feet wide and 10 feet tall screen. And then, to honour the founder of the D S Group, French speed painter Michael Raivard created a portrait of legendary Satyapal Sugandhi on screen in a performance that was spectacular by all accounts.
A touching tribute by poetic genius Javed Akhtar then led to the larger-than-life launch of the book using special 3D mapping projection techniques.
But then, we saved the best for the last.
The piece-de-resistance of the evening unfolded before the awe-struck guests in the form of the largest ever building mapping project in Indian history, with all the seven facades of the D S Group's new headquarters - spanning 590 feet in width - forming the canvas for the 3D video mapping story!
And, not to forget the 3000 LED balloons that went up into the night sky in a fitting finale to bring the curtains down on what was a truly spell-binding evening!
