DWG Helps Leading Network Security Provider Integrate With Key Global Logistics Partner

DWG announced today that it has completed a project that allows an industry-leading network security provider to more effectively serve its worldwide customer base through increased data integration with one of its key global logistics partners.

DWG, an Atlanta-based professional services organization that provides project management and consulting services to organizations looking to automate the exchange of critical business information with their suppliers or customers, announced today that it has completed a project that allows an industry-leading network security provider to more effectively serve its worldwide customer base through increased data integration with one of its key global logistics partners.

In an effort to replace or repair defective products within a very short window of time, in some cases as little as 24-hours, DWG's customer needed to make sure order information was provided to one of its logistics partners as close to real-time as possible so they could service the need in the field. This critical initiative included dozens of the service centers around the world as well as multiple internal departments and external organizations, all needing to exchange information and move materials rapidly in order to ensure an organization's data remained secure.

With a proven track record managing global data integration projects for industry-leading organizations, DWG's role was to plan and organize the project, ensure all partners were on the same page in terms of the timeline, deliverables, and requirements, and oversee the execution of the project from kick-off all the way through go-live.

"This global initiative presented a lot of new challenges for our client and some new experiences for DWG," said Bill Woerner, DWG Managing Director. "While all companies want to process orders quickly for their customers, when you're talking about a down network security solution on the other side of the globe, every hour is absolutely critical. This forced all of us to not only make sure the touch points of the integration were stable but also the surrounding business processes needed to be streamlined to allow for rapid processing."

Recently recognized as one of the fastest growing private companies in Atlanta, DWG brings an unparalleled level of expertise to its customer's critical B2B integration initiatives. With a proven track record working with industry leading high-tech companies such as FireEye, Infoblox, Flextronics, EMC, and F5 Networks, DWG's team of consultants can help organizations select the right technology, plan their B2B integration initiative, and provide the ongoing project leadership required to ensure success.
