Dumas Mining To Appoint New CEO

Online, November 24, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Dumas Contracting Ltd. ("Dumas") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Burger Greeff as Chief Executive Officer ("CEO"), commencing in 2012. Mr. Daniel Dumas, the founder and current CEO of Dumas, will remain a Director of Dumas and will continue to play an active role in Dumas' continued growth.

Mr. Greeff is a seasoned mining executive, bringing over 18 years of management experience in mining and contract mining. Mr. Greeff joins Dumas from De Beers where he has held a number of senior management roles, most recently as CEO of De Beers Marine, the in-house mining contractor for De Beers marine mining operations. Prior to this Mr. Greeff was a General Manager in De Beers Group Services, where he was responsible for De Beers' strategic business planning, supply-side strategy, business optimization and process improvements.

Mr. Greeff is a registered Professional Engineer of South Africa and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (mechanical) and a Masters of Engineering from the University of Stellenbosch. Mr. Greeff has also completed the Executive Development Programme of the Gordon Institute of Business Science.

Mr. Dumas will step down as CEO having occupied the role since 1994 when he founded Dumas. Mr. Dumas will remain actively involved with Dumas, principally focused on developing new business and further expanding Dumas' operations and service offerings. Mr. Dumas will also remain a director and major shareholder of Dumas and will work closely with Mr. Greeff over an extended transition period.
