DePaul University Adds Spark! to Business School Curriculum

Baker Communications announced that DePaul University has added SPARK! - authored by Baker Communications President and CEO Walter Rogers - to the curriculum of the Center for Sales Leadership of the College of Commerce.

Baker Communications announced that DePaul University has added SPARK! - authored by Baker Communications President and CEO Walter Rogers - to the curriculum of the Center for Sales Leadership of the College of Commerce. Not only will SPARK! be offered as a part of the curriculum at the DePaul's main campus in Chicago, Illinois, it will also be available to more than 40 other college campuses across the US through DePaul's licensed curriculum program.

"SPARK! has proven to be extremely valuable content to both our undergraduate and graduate sales force automation classes in The Center for Sales Leadership at DePaul University. I am impressed with the book's ability to immediately focus a student's attention on industry best practice and essential learning within CRM," said Daniel P. Strunk, Managing Director DePaul University.

SPARK! is a practical guide that outlines eleven best practices considered to be critical for the success of any CRM enablement initiative and transformation journey. SPARK! is not a technical guide, because CRM enablement is not a technology problem; it is a behavioral problem. Technology solutions, by themselves, do not change behavior. SPARK! unlocks some of the most stubborn behavioral obstacles of CRM adoption with fresh techniques, and uncovers the hidden angles and avenues to CRM success. Packaged in an innovative new format, SPARK! makes for a crisp, quick read, whether you are looking for a deeper dive into CRM behaviors or just skimming the book for quick tips.

Baker Communications also announced the Rogers has joined the Advisory Board of the Center for Sales Leadership and will serve the program as a regular guest lecturer.

"We are pleased and honored by the addition of SPARK! as a part of the Center for Sales Leadership program," said Rogers. "DePaul is a highly respected university with one of the largest sales education programs in the country. They have a terrific vision for preparing their graduates to better collaborate, compete and win in a rapidly changing, connected and global business climate."
