Attendance and participation is not only fun it helps to raise the funds necessary to care for animals. The Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge is a no-kill shelter. They are a humane facility dedicated to treatment and rehabilitation of companion animals until they can be adopted into a loving forever home. The proper care of the animals includes medical treatment, training and of course food and shelter.

The Refuge is located at 2 Shelter Lane in Oakland, NJ and open for adoptions Tues and Thursday from 1pm to 8pm; Wednesday from 12pm to 4pm; and Saturday and Sunday from 11pm to 4pm.
