CROS NT Donates to One Fund Boston at DIA 2013; Funds Distributed to Boston Marathon Bombing Victims

At the DIA 49th Annual Meeting in Boston, Massachusetts during the last week of June, CROS NT paid tribute to the host city by helping to raise $1,615 USD for One Fund Boston through 5K running events and selling t-shirts.

CROS NT held two 5K runs around the Charles River Esplanade where DIA attendees donated $20 to participate. During the show, CROS NT sold t-shirts at its booth with 100 percent of the proceeds going to One Fund Boston.

One Fund Boston is a fund set up by the city of Boston to support victims of the Boston Marathon bombings on 15th of April 2013. To date, the fund has collected over $64 million USD from individuals, corporations and organizations worldwide.

Paolo Morelli, CEO of CROS NT, said, "I was very keen to get involved in this project, a number of my people were involved in the event which raised money for what is an important charity. I ask all of my companies to get involved in community projects, and it was very appropriate for CROS NT to get involved in the One Fund while visiting Boston".
