Composite Simulation Leader E-Xstream Engineering Sets Global User Conference for October 8-10

Leading material suppliers and manufacturers gather to present proven methods for composite modeling and simulation a the 6th Digimat Users' Meeting in Belgium (Liège) on October 8 - 10, 2013.

e-Xstream engineering, an MSC Software Company, and software developer of Digimat, the leading nonlinear multi-scale material and structure modeling platform for the micromechanical modeling of composite materials and structures, will host their 6th annual Digimat Users' Meeting in Belgium (Liège) on October 8 - 10, 2013. This year is a monumental year for e-Xstream engineering, marking a decade in advanced material modeling since it was founded in Belgium in May of 2003.

The team at e-Xstream is eager to celebrate 10 years of continuing success with the Digimat community at the October Users' Meeting, The Material Modeling Conference. The preliminary agenda includes presentations from leading materials industry providers and manufacturers including Solvay Engineering Plastics, DSM Engineering Plastics, Airbus, Valeo Thermal Systems, UES Software Inc., JSOL Corporation, DuPont, Hexcel, Autoliv, Toyota, Sabic Innovation, General Motors Research & Development, Huntsman Polyurethanes, JKU Linz, ITA and IWM RWTH Aachen. Best-in-class technical presentations will highlight failure and fatigue and the efficient use of Digimat technology across industries using plastics and composites.

The multi-day, international gathering, will address the simulation needs of today's material suppliers and their customers with discussions focused on improving material behavior prediction, optimizing micromechanical performances, accelerating the development of innovative products and lightweight industrial parts and leveraging composite materials properties. CAE engineers and managers attending the conference will have the opportunity to learn new simulation techniques in a highly technical and collaborative environment to exchange experiences and strengthen modeling skills.

Join the Digimat user community October 8 - 10 in Belgium, where it all began a decade ago. Attendees will explore the newest technology and its wide range of applications across industries and connect to the latest innovations in advanced material modeling. Additional event highlights include customer presentations, Digimat release 5.0 focused presentations by e-Xstream's development team, future product development and enhancement discussions, and an active partner exhibition.
