Cicely J. Releases Black and White Relationships Book

Advance word is that the publication will be as eye-opening as any controversial read that has preceded it. The book appeals to most readers, including those currently in, or contemplating entering a biracial relationship.

(eMediaCampaigns!) -- Speaking through her publicist, author Cicely J. announced the forthcoming release of 'black men' vs. White Men: The Black Woman's Choice (2009, GreenDay Publishing). Unhappy about the way things are, Cicely J. decided to write about it. The first-time author is set to release a dynamically controversial book in February, 2009, just in time for fall reading.

Cicely J. offers a panoramic sweep of a destined-to-be, bestseller. "This book is about real life situations that are plaguing African American communities," she explained. There are more black men in jail than in college. And, black children are 5 times more likely to be born in single parent households which are headed by women than white children."

The author continued, "Black women are tired of being alone, and tired of the choices they have when it comes to selecting a suitable mate. There are close to no single, eligible black men for our Nubian sisters today. More and more black women are falling for their 'Mr. Right' in the form of blonde hair and blue eyes because Darnell, DaQuan, Tyrone, and Omar are not equipped to meet her halfway. And, if she does meet an eligible black man who is educated and on her level, chances are he is interested in white women, does not want to commit, or is on the 'DL'," she concluded.

Advance word is that the publication will be as eye-opening as any controversial read that has preceded it. The book appeals to most readers, including those currently in, or contemplating entering a biracial relationship. "This is not a memoir about my sex life. It's not about relationships with rappers or basketball players. The book was written to spark a conversation as black men read what many black women really think," said Cicely J.

All readers can expect to be intrigued. Cicely J. compellingly states what many women think, but few say. 'black men' vs. White Men: The Black Woman's Choice is scheduled to be available for purchase online as well as select book stores, and other retail outlets globally in February, 2010.
