Chicago's George the salon will donate their hair cutting and coloring services to raise money for the On Your Feet Foundation on Monday, March 5, 2012

On Monday March 5, 2012 from 5- 8PM, River North's George the salon, located at 23 W. Hubbard, will host a "New Year, New You" fundraiser benefiting the On Your Feet Foundation (OYFF).

A $100.00 donation to OYFF will provide contributors with one cutting or coloring service from the salon's top hairstylists along with wine and hors d'oeuvres. Additional sessions to pick from include psychic readings, life coaching, makeup applications, or reflexology. All proceeds will go directly to OYFF in hopes to raise the awareness and funds needed to provide personal support to birth parents to help them get "back on their feet". OYFF focuses on helping birthparents build a better life by giving them the tools they need through case management and coaching, monetary grants and through the creation of a community of other birthparents.

The OYFF, which gained national recognition on MTV's Teen Mom, helped the show's cast member, Catelynn Lowell, with her life changing decision to choose adoption for her baby. A crew from MTV came to the charity's birthmother retreat hosted by the foundation to film for their documentary series, "Teen Mom." Birthmother Catelynn Lowell attended the retreat as a participant.

RSVP to Susan Wilson by February 27th, 2012 by calling 773-445-5888.
