The Chicago Magic Soccer Club (CMSC) and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have announced a multiyear deal to further each organizations' commitment to the development of youth soccer in the U.S.

The partnership covers all aspects of the U.S. Chicago Magic club's program, from the micro school for 4-7 year olds to the flagship USSF Development Academy U18 team. Joint activities between the clubs will include training seminars and clinics in the U.S., coaching exchanges to promote a common theme applying the well respected Paris SG Academy Curriculum as appropriate in the US market, as well as having players and teams from each club visit as invited guests in the respective host cities.

Paris Saint-Germain, one of the most glorious soccer clubs in France, has a long history of developing French and International players through its Academy which operates a full residency program and camp system for players from around the world.

"Following our participation in the Chicago Sister Cities International Cup last year, we are pleased to enter into this alliance with a top youth soccer club such as Chicago Magic" said Philippe Boindrieux, Paris SG Executive Vice President. "We are committed to supporting the growth and development of US soccer at the grassroots as well as the top level, and are happy to do so in a partner city of Paris with a club that has a long history of success".

The Chicago Magic has been working to secure a valuable partner on the professional side in Europe for over a year. In combination with a recently signed apparel and gear contract with Paris SG's supplier Nike, the future direction for the club has been set in motion.

"We are excited to have a partnership with a quality European Club such as Paris Saint-Germain," offered Louis Mateus, Chicago Magic Executive Director. "This partnership is a wonderful opportunity for our players and coaches to have their professional resources available to us," he concluded.

The Magic will proudly adopt the colors, name, and uniforms of Paris SG, and work with Paris SG and Nike to promote new tournaments and camp programs here in the US that meet the high standards of PSG and their staff. Look for Paris SG - Magic players at national level events and follow their progress on the club's websites.
