Cheer Channel, Inc., the online network for the spirit industry announced today, Top Gun On Tour: Instructional DVD series levels 1-5, a 4-disc set that provides tips and training techniques from the world champion all-star stunt team, Top Gun.

Austin, TX-- Cheer Channel, Inc., the online digital network for the spirit industry announced today its first home video release, Top Gun On Tour: Instructional DVD series levels 1-5, a 4-disc set that provides valuable tips and training techniques from the world champion all-star stunt team, Top Gun.

Produced in association with World Cup Cheer, the DVD set was filmed during the World Cup Cheer Finals in June 2010 in Australia. Elite members and coaches of the Top Gun All Star team participated in the event and created routines and stunts on location at some of Brisbane's most beautiful sites to provide footage for the instructional videos.

Unlike other instructional videos the industry has produced, this DVD series highlights the team inside and outside of a gym setting. It provides intimate, behind-the-scenes footage of the Top Gun team enjoying the beautiful sites of Brisbane. Up-close and personal encounters with the team show why Top Gun remains the world's top all star team.

"We were very pleased to be able to work with Victor Rosario, Top Gun Coach, and his team to create the definitive training video for the spirit industry," said Cindy Villarreal, CEO of Cheer Channel.

"Just seeing the discipline and enthusiasm these kids have, their superb training, it is easy to understand why Victor is acknowledged as one of the leading coaches in the spirit industry," said Lance Robbins, President of Cheer Channel.

Shooting the sequences at the World Cup Finals provided a unique environment in which to showcase the talent, skills and great personalities of the athletes. Other bonus features on the DVD set include still photos, wallpaper, downloads and more. The discs, which will be available some time in Spring 2011, are available for pre-order at www.cheerchannel.com.

"There have been many requests over the years for Top Gun to release an instructional DVD series, but I wanted to create something more interesting for our fans than just one camera filming routines," said Rosario. "The World Cup Finals in Brisbane provided the perfect setting to capture our squad on tour, as well as an opportunity to work with Cheer Channel on the production and marketing of this set that both entertains and educates our fans."

"It was great to have Top Gun at the WCC Finals," said Lyn Parker, Owner of World Cup Cheer. "They performed to a completely sold out arena with great success and we hope that they will return next year to create even more excitement. We felt that the Cheer Channel, with their production expertise, was the perfect partner to market the DVD series worldwide."

The video was produced by Com23 and Cheer Channel Home Video, a division of Cheer Channel. Executive producers include, Lance Robbins, Cindy Villarreal, Victor Rosario, John Adams and Lyn Parker.

"The overall response to the series from the industry, including coaches, gyms and cheerleaders from around the world has been tremendous," said Robbins. "We anticipate more of these kinds of videos and other original programs in the coming months."
