Newswire is looking for Business Development Reps looking to jumpstart a career in sales. The function of this role is outbound prospecting to mid-large market accounts in an assigned territory. The BDR will support the sales team to uncover new business opportunities and will be compensated based on new qualified meetings set on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This position requires a true hunter mentality with the ability to manage and work a dedicated territory to uncover new business opportunities that align with Newswire products and services.

Setting qualified meetings for Senior Sales Representatives
Maintain relationships with stakeholders and decision makers who do not show a current interest in Newswire products, but may need our solutions in the future.
Meet daily, weekly and monthly meeting goals within an assigned territory.
Become an expert on Newswire messaging, technology, competitive differentiators and overall value proposition.
1-2 years sales experience, professional level
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience using Salesforce.com is a plus
Experience selling or demonstrating software is a plus
Communications, public relations, agency or journalism background is a plus
