Bumperchute Co. & IMS Alliance Debute New Command Post Flag and Light at 2013 Fire Department Instructors Conference

Bumperchute Co., makers of the versatile tailgate command post join IMS Alliance in debuting the Tripod Command Post Flag and Light at the 2013 Fire Department Instructors 85th Annual Conference and Exhibition.

Bumperchute Co., makers of versatile tailgate extension canopies that shelter first responders using sport utility vehicles as a command posts, are pleased to be presenting, in partnership with IMS Alliance, another beneficial first-responder product called the Tripod Command Post Flag and Light during their attendance at the 2013 Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC®), occurring on April 22nd through 27th in Indianapolis, Indiana. While the conference will be utilizing two side-by-side buildings-the Indianapolis Convention Center and the adjacent Lucas Oil Stadium-Bumperchute Co. and IMS Alliance invite attendees to come by and visit them in the Indianapolis Convention Center at Booth #3273 between the 25th and the 27th of April.

The debut of the Tripod Command Post Flag and Light at this year's convention is exciting to both Bumperchute and IMS Alliance because this flag and light combination makes marking and locating an incident Command Post both easy and effective. The tripod base is a heavy-duty, air-cushioned tripod with four adjustable sections that fully extend to a height of over fifteen feet. The green-and-white polyester "CP" or Command Post flag at the top of the extension pole clearly identifies the Command Post and also indicates the current wind direction. In addition, the two diamond-shaped, green Lightman® LED lights located at the top of the flag pole provide a visual that can be seen from all sides and, on a clear night, from up to 2,500 feet away. With a "steady-on" or a "flash" mode, these two unique LED lights are so bright they can even be seen well in the sunlight. Battery-powered by two included AA batteries (plus four included extras), the green LED lights, in combination with the Command Post flag atop the flag pole, make identifying and finding the Command Post a quick and simple task.

Included with the Tripod Command Post Flag and Light are two sandbags that can be filled on-site with sand or water bottles and can then be draped over the tripod legs for added flag-base stability. Also included is a handy carrying case that facilitates easy transport and quick storage. At only eight pounds for the entire product, and with its quick and easy setup, break down, and carrying-bag storage, the Tripod Command Post Flag and Light makes identifying the Command Post as simple and effective as doing so should be during an extremely time-sensitive incident.
