April 24, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Ronin' Productions LLC, presenter of the River City Sports Festival [RCSF], and event organizers are excited to announce today that Budweiser has recently signed to be the title sponsor of Rumble in River City, the headlining show at RCSF, May 9 - 11, 2014, in Mason City, Iowa. Kabrick Distributing Company of Mason City Inc., the local Budweiser distributor, will manage all sponsorship activities for the wrestling event.
At the top of their promotional agenda, Budweiser and Kabrick will host pro wrestling icon Gorgeous George for a special appearance Friday, May 2, at Eleven Lounge, a night club in Mason City, where event tickets can be purchased.
"Bringing Budweiser on board as the title sponsor for Rumble in River City is a major win for us as we continue to build momentum toward the launch of the first-ever River City Sports Festival," said Ernest "The Cat" Miller, commissioner of RCSF and former WCW wrestling superstar. "It also shows that we are not only gaining strong local support, but also awareness and backing on a national level."
Rumble in River City is a professional wrestling spectacular scheduled to celebrate RCSF tournament champions on Saturday night, May 10, at North Iowa Area Community College [NIACC], also the venue for many of the RCSF competitions. Former NWA, WWE, WCW and current TNA/Impact superstars will enter the squared circle to battle each other, including Gorgeous George; Disco Inferno; Chae, former NFL Atlanta Falcons cheerleader and WCW Nitro Girl; TNA Superstar Garett Bischoff, the son of pro wrestling icon Eric Bischoff; and Dan "The Beast" Severn, the only UFC Triple Crown Champion and former NWA Superstar.
Budweiser and Kabrick will be inviting special guests to a VIP Pre-Party for an autograph signing with all the wrestling superstars appearing at Rumble in River City. Budweiser and Kabrick will also host a post-event party at Eleven.
Rumble in River City is being produced in association with Ronin' and Impact Pro Wrestling [IPW] of Iowa, a long-time wrestling event promoter and training facility. Ronin and IPW will soon announce the remaining card for Rumble in River City. Tickets for the event are still free for the first 1,000 amateur competitors who register in advance for RCSF.
