Britannia Mining Enters Into Formal Negotiations With Micron Envrio Systems
Britannia Mining, a British mining development company announced the company has entered into formal negotiations with a US emerging mining company. Micron Enviro Systems is a public company that holds 22 permits in the Dawson District of the Yukon.
Online, July 24, 2012 (Newswire.com) - The claims are approximately 9km from Kinross's white gold discovery.
Management has confirmed that Britannia Mining is committed to further diversifying its product pipeline to meet demand from the company's customer base. Kenneth Roberts President and CEO said, "we are aggressively targeting projects that we consider value adding additions to our existing business model. As a company that is actively developing the Nthale iron ore project, we consider the Yukon Gold claims to be extremely beneficial for Britannia to further develop our product pipeline."
Britannia and Micron are considering a working relationship to deliver corporate development and increased operational efficiency by drawing on the potential of both company's projects and reach within US, Europe and Africa. It is not known if the companies will seek a strategic alliance or if a merger/acquisition is on the table. In either case, the combined result should prove to be quite valuable to both mining companies.
Roberts explained, "Britannia Mining can enhance Micron's projects by bringing the technical expertise and access to capital to ramp up existing exploration programs. Our business model considers cash flows generated from near term mining activities as one of the ways Britannia can deliver enhanced value to our shareholders."
