The following tips will help you prepare your pitch to the media and get the results you want.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">#1 It\u2019s About Relationships<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As you write your pitch, remember that you\u2019re speaking to another professional who you\u2019ve never met before. That means you want to be professional and respectful. It\u2019s also good to remember that it\u2019s okay if you don\u2019t connect with a media representative the first time. Relationships can take time to build.
