My neighbor had passed her HSC and her results were out. She was a science student. But just because of an average kind of marks in her exam, she couldn't procure admission in any of the Engineering colleges of the city. Among those she had selected and put in her option list, on the basis of the online cum merit basis had to take admission in one of the institute located in the southern part of the country in the city of Chennai.

Thanks to the online booking system, without much hassle they could search for themselves Pune to Chennai flights. Two days later she with her parents boarded their flight from Pune airport and reached the city which is situated on the coast of the Bay of Bengal the one which is popularly known as Gateway of South. A true mix of historical monuments and modern amenities together. A beautiful city in all. It's altogether a place which in itself is a hub of beautiful beach resorts, world-wide famous temples, waterfalls and backwaters. Though acquainted with a great population, it is a city with a wide range of sight-seeing locations for all those visitors at the city of Chennai which was earlier known to be Madras.

After getting down and resting for a day, since there was still time for college to start, they left in the evening to the largest and the most famous Marina Beach, for witnessing the sunset there and the lighthouse too. The next day they even visited the Queens land for a ride through the mirror maze and also at the roller coaster. Also as she was interested in being to museums, they left for the Tamil Nadu Science and Technology centre. As a matter of fact they were into the city that is also abode to many temples of different gods; they paid their visit Marundeeswarar Temple, Trivandrum for seeking blessings from the god. For witnessing the architecture that is both beautiful and heritage, Madras High Court, the Thousand Lights Mosque, the Valluvar Kottam, the St. George Fort, the Senate House are some of the best sights to visit. If you wish to look at the cosmic world, head towards the Birla Planetarium that is at Kotturpuram. Among all these is a place which is different, unusual, interesting is the one of Broken Bridge, yea a bridge that is broken, and also doesn't reach anywhere but the nature's beauty is what it is famous for. The sunset and sun rise view is often that attracts tourists towards it. Among the various beaches Elliot's Beach, the Covelong Beach and the Marina are the most famous and also for the water sports activities like the Boat rides, Knee boarding, Speed boat rides, or may be Para-sailing experience them all at the Tarsha Water Sports.

After hearing so much about the city, awaiting for the moment eagerly for me too to get into one of the Pune to Chennai flights, and be there with my friend and cherish few of these moments of happiness along with her too. So now is the time to book tickets for my flight from Pune.
