AVW-TELAV Audio Visual Solutions and the Ottawa Convention Centre Named Partnership Of The Year by Ottawa Tourism

In a combined effort, the two businesses have put Canada's capital on the map as a convention destination with leading audio visual systems.

The Ottawa Tourism Awards are presented annually to companies, organizations and individuals that have aided in the growth of tourism in Ottawa. The Partnership of the Year Award recognizes exceptional effort put forth by two or more businesses in combining their resources in an innovative or cost-effective way to promote tourism in Canada's capital region.

When the OCC closed for construction in 2008, the opportunity arose for AVW-TELAV to demonstrate its full range of audio visual and presentation services in Ottawa by entering into a strategic, long-term partnership with the OCC.

In the lead up to the OCC's re-opening in 2011, the two businesses focused on ensuring that the centre was well equipped with cutting-edge audio visual systems and technology infrastructure.
