Avalon School of Cosmetology Hosts 9th Annual Fantasy Hair Show in Phoenix and Layton

Beauty College Avalon School of Cosmetology is showcasing their students' skills and creativity at events to raise money to fight against domestic violence.

Avalon School of Cosmetology will be hosting their 9th annual Fantasy Hair Shows in Arizona and Utah on Saturday evening June 15. The show for Avalon's Arizona Campuses will be held at North High School in Phoenix, in order to benefit the Arizona Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Avalon's Utah Campus will be holding their Fantasy Hair Show at the Davis Conference Center in Layton, Utah, in order to benefit the Utah Domestic Violence Council.

Over 100 students have spent weeks preparing for the shows and will be modeling hair and makeup in a variety of "fantasy" categories with an emphasis on music genres.

One hundred percent of the revenue generated from ticket sales in each event will be donated directly to their respective beneficiaries: the Arizona Coalition Against Domestic Violence (azcadv.org) and the Utah Domestic Violence Council (udvc.org). Tickets can be purchased for $10 in advance at any Avalon School of Cosmetology location, or for $15 at the door on the night of the event. Doors open at 6:00 at both events.
