Reader reviews from Amazon.com:

Emily Ide - Five star review

"This book is hard to read at times because of the impossible scenarios K.C. must endure, but is also impossible to put down.
I had to step back at times and remind myself that every word on every page was real. K.C. is an inspiring individual to have made the choices that she did throughout her life and became a stronger person because of it. Her daughter, friends and family definitely benefit from all that she has become. I highly recommend this book."

Angie Mohr - *****

"This is not a book for the faint-hearted. But, if you have ever felt alone, different, and "wrong", you will instantly relate with Lauer's struggles. She paints a picture of hopelessness that she turns into a story of strength and faith in herself. Bad Girl Gone Mom should be read by every teen girl drowning in alcohol, drugs, or other bad choices. It is a story of affirmation of the human spirit and that good things can happen in even the worst circumstances...highly recommended!"

In her free time, K.C. also writes songs and performs them with her all original rock and roll band, Chainsmoker. Here she is featured in the following video on YouTube, playing at Toad's place in New Haven, CT. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XlUkckbWcQ&list=FLrqWNbr5olV2T9HLOvO9uVg&index=2.
