The purpose is to promote Computer Systems Technology - Networking at Centennial College, which is a three-year, Advanced Diploma program that offers a strong focus on labs and practical application.

After three years in Centennial College's computer networking training - Computer Systems Technology - Networking - students graduate with an Ontario College Advanced Diploma. However, the undertaking also allows students two other exit points should their goals change. After one year, students may graduate with a CRAM certificate and after two years, with a Technician diploma.

Graduates also have the option of pursuing industry standard certifications such as Comptia A+, Net+, iNet, Cisco CCNA, Novell CNE, Microsoft Win2000 Professional and Server.

To ensure students have the knowledge they need to pursue a range of careers, they spend the three years in the program studying the latest in computer systems through a hands-on approach. This technical problem solving method includes work in Progress Campus's specialized labs where students go inside PC hardware and learn about operating systems as well as configuring and troubleshooting wired and wireless networks in order to have full control of the computing and communicating technology. Through the courses, they become comfortable with maintaining systems that will empower users in their creative, business and communication activities.

Once they successfully complete each computer networking course, students may be hired by companies that include Enbridge Consumers Gas, StorageTek, Toronto Hydro and Transport Canada.
