After several meetings and contract reviews, it was decided Asphalt Messiah would join the LRT family
Online, October 5, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Asphalt Messiah received an invitation to appear at a red carpet event hosted by Interscope/Aftermath Records though the music site on ReverbNation. This year representatives of LRT Entertainment / LRT Music Group were present at The Federal Bar, Hollywood, CA for the event where Asphalt Messiah was a featured group. After the Asphalt Messiah performance, Kacy Jones, Founder & Lead Guitarist for Asphalt Messiah received several offers for future possibilities, one being from the LRT Entertainment / LRT Music Group representatives. After several meetings and contract reviews, it was decided Asphalt Messiah would join the LRT family.
On Friday, September 14, 2012, Asphalt Messiah signed a major distribution deal with LRT Entertainment / LRT Music Group, Sherman Oaks, CA. The music distribution and marketing of LRT Entertainment / LRT Music Group is second to none. Co-Founder Lisa Thomas is a veteran entertainment industry professional whose career began in the Motion Picture department of Walt Disney Productions. Prior to co-founding LRT Entertainment / LRT Music Group her career also included years of service at Spelling Entertainment and Universal Music where she successfully worked in the Music and Video Distribution section for twelve years before being promoted to Universal Television Distribution where she spent another successful eight years.

From mid March 2012 thru mid May 2012, their video for "Don't Forget the Fallen" received over 112,300 views on YouTube. A live performance video of "Fall Back" recorded at the Talking Stick, Venice, CA received over 7,400 views within a three week period. Asphalt Messiah has opened for Hip-Hop Legend Warren G, performed at the Sunset Music Festival where they opened for the Platinum recording Group P.O.D., with Slash, The Smashing Pumpkins and others in attendance. "The official signing of the contract with LRT Entertainment / LRT Music Group was delayed due to my father having a heart attack and a stroke shortly after the performance at the Federal Bar. He was hospitalized for several weeks and unexpectedly passed on September due to complications of pancreatic cancer. The past month has been a very trying time and roller coaster of emotions from one extreme to the other. It taught me everything I try to instill in youth of today is still very deep rooted within myself..
