Arnold's invitation to SRK a bid to control damage...!!!

Online, August 25, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Guess what! King Khan of Bollywood has now got an invitation from the Terminator of Hollywood. Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former Mr Universe, the greatest action hero of Hollywood of all times and currently the mayor of the state of California has invited Shahrukh Khan or SRK, the heart throb of Bollywood for a dinner which according to news sources in going to take place on September 20. Well, a nice gesture by the Californian Mayor to an Asian or an Indian filmstar but it is hard to take this invitation as a general one. It is special, very special not only because both the invitee and the person inviting are polar faces of cinema but because of the time when the invitation has been given. Even a child can understand what the real story is.

Mr Schwarzenegger's invitation to SRK is simply an attempt to lessen the anger that the actor is now possessing for the detention drama at Newark International Airport a few days back. SRK did not hide his disappointment over the whole issue anywhere. He hasn't attacked the American administration with hard words but has made it clear that he was unhappy with the security procedures that are followed at the airports in USA. At the press conference that he arranged at his bungalow in Mumbai hours after coming back from USA he has clearly complained about being asked irritating question by the security authority instead of taking him for a finger print test or retina scan. He has also said that these things are very common for the Asians in US airports, after the 9/11 incident.

He didn't even a single harsh word against that country. Neither did he criticize the security system but still managed to convey his message successfully to the right place. His body language at that press conference was perfect to build up a 'common man' like image who has fallen victim to the strict norms in the foreign soil, which perhaps attracted the eyes of Mr Schwarzeneggar. With his signature smile, his attitude and a very friendly addressing style he has improved his image as a human being not only in India but also the land where he has faced embarrassment. He has made his detention an issue to discuss in USA. But why did Mr Scwarzenegger come forward to take the initiative of cooling down SRK's hidden anger? Well folks, its very simple. After all they both are actors and performers. The performance of one actor can only be appreciated properly by another actor. Mr Schwarzenegger surely has read between the lines.
