AmpliVox "Speaks Up for America" with Donation to Local YMCA

AmpliVox Sound Systems has made a cash donation to the North Suburban YMCA in Northbrook, Illinois, as part of the company's "Speak Up for America" public service initiative.

AmpliVox Sound Systems, a designer, manufacturer, and distributor of top-quality sound system and presentation products, has delivered a cash donation to the North Suburban YMCA in Northbrook, Illinois, as part of its "Speak Up for America!" public service initiative. The donation will support the Y's local youth programming and services.

AmpliVox's Speak Up for America initiative was launched in 2011 as a platform to recognize and support local public service agencies, including the Y. AmpliVox CEO Don Roth, a former NSYMCA Board Member, commends the Y for providing a wide range of community services. "The North Suburban Y is a true community center, with quality programs that build healthier lives for everyone," noted Roth. "The Y also ensures that its services remain affordable to everyone, with financial assistance to those who need it. We at AmpliVox are proud to support the Y's mission."

"We have been very fortunate to have AmpliVox as one of our community business partners," said Howard Schultz, Executive Director/CEO of the NSYMCA. "AmpliVox has stood by the Y for years and we know that we can depend on them as we continue to grow in the future."

The Speak Up for America initiative is just one of AmpliVox's programs to benefit the greater community. The company has become known for its cause marketing initiatives, most notably the "Pink Podium Promise" program that donates AmpliVox lecterns and megaphones to breast cancer causes. Roth welcomes the opportunity to involve AmpliVox in charitable leadership, believing that the company's corporate responsibility philosophy pays off in stronger communities, relationships, long-term benefits. "Sharing our success with worthy organizations is a privilege," says Roth. "We look for innovative ways to support causes that are important to our community, and we enjoy knowing that our efforts are having a positive impact."
