Canadian actor Gig Morton receives multiple nominations for the Hollywood Young Artist Awards

Canadian actor Gig Morton has recently been nominated for two Young Artist Awards in the categories of Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the film ANGEL AND THE BADMAN as well as Best Performance in a DVD feature for SANTA BUDDIES. The Young Artist Awards are to be held in Studio City, California on April 11, 2010 and are presented yearly by the Young Artist Foundation. Now in their 31st year, the awards began to specifically give recognition to talented young people in the film and television industry.

At the young age of 13, Gig already has an extensive list of film and television credits, including the recently released feature ELOPEMENT, starring Ian Ziering and an upcoming guest appearance in the Canadian crime drama series, SHATTERED. Other works completed by Gig include SANTA BUDDIES, SPACE BUDDIES, SNOW BUDDIES, AIR BUDDIES, CHRISTMAS TOWN and the television series, FEAR ITSELF and MISTRESSES. Gig is the only young actor that has appeared in all four of the BUDDIES movies. With several film and television credits already on his resume, Gig Morton has become one of the most watched young actors in the entertainment industry, as evident from these recent award nominations.
