A Natural Dog Balm - Safe From Harmful Ingredients

Shop Jonquil has developed and created Pawms, a natural dog balm . Pawms will help dogs heal hot spots, sooth cracked paws & elbows, relieve raw spots and reduce redness. Pawms contains dog safe, cosmetic grade ingredients.

Dogs are amazing creatures, but often times they develop "hot spots", or those bald spots on their elbows regardless of the care involved. Dog can be prone to various skin conditions, insect bites and dry paws, especially during dry months or winter. After all they are closer to the ground then most humans!

To help heal these skin conditions and provide comfort, Shop Jonquil has created Pawms. Pawms is an all-natural, odorless product and contains only dog safe ingredients. Safflower Oil, Bee's Wax & JoJoba Oil are the only items in Pawms. It's safe even if your dog licks it off.

Diane Korem-Mahaffey, Co-founder/CEO, clarifies, "We were extremely careful in selecting our ingredients. We have always owned our own dog and the last thing we wanted to do was make dogs sick with good intentions. Some other products contain shea butter, which we use and is safe for consumer products, but shea butter is not safe for dogs." She adds "Shea butter comes from the nut of the African shea tree and nuts and dog do not get along - it can be fatal for a dog. That's why we selected Safflower Oil, Bee's Wax and JoJoba Oil. With our focus on natural skin care products, developing Pawms seemed like a perfect product for our line."

In Pawms, the naturally expelled Safflower Oil helps promotes hair growth and reduces scars. Bee's Wax is Mother Nature's antiseptic and it also helps lock-in and keep the other oils on the dog. JoJoba Oil is full of beneficial minerals and Vitamin E. It's also antibacterial. Most bacteria including Staphylococcus can't reproduce and die when they come into contact with JoJoba oil. It gets rid of various skin infections including insect bites, fungal microbes, skin bacteria and a bunch of others.

Diane further adds, "We do not recommend you use this daily on the dog's paws. Mother Nature intended for their paws to be rough and tough to avoid cuts. However, it's perfectly safe if they develop a small cut which is sometimes unavoidable. We've been using it on our Lab for weeks now and her hot spots are healing very nicely. Pawms is only for dogs and not safe for cats."

There is 1.7 oz (50 ml) of balm in Pawms, it is odorless and comes in a convenient tin container. Jonquil released Pawms on November 15th.
