Winner Takes All, But the Money Goes To Your Favorite Charity in This Free To Join Basketball Bracket Tournament

A new online pool to pick winners in the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament is open to anyone who is passionate about a cause because all monies collected will be donated to the winner's charity of choice.

This Spring you don't have to sneak around your company's human resource department during the popular college hoops tournament in fear of getting nailed for checking scores on work time. Now there is an online bracket challenge that is free to join, encourages contributions for a cause, and most importantly, empowers the winner to donate all monies collected to his/her favorite charity. The tournament, dubbed the 2012 Pick n Roll Charity Challenge is sponsored by iwonmyleague.com, makers of hand-crafted fantasy sports trophies and games, and powered by pickhoops.com. According to company co-founders, the game "was created to support two of the company's pillar principles -- competition and service." Anyone is encouraged to sign up for this free online NCAA tournament now by visiting iwonmyleague.com and play for a cause this year.

The 2012 Pick n Roll Charity Challenge marks the first year that iwonmyleague.com is putting the prize for their college hoops bracket tourney up for grabs to the winner's choice. The only catch is, that choice has to be a 501(c) (3) charity. The tournament pool is being funded primarily by iwonmyleague.com, but there is also a "donate now" function built in to their website that allows contestants and other businesses to pledge an amount that will add to the winnings and make the tournament more worthwhile. The Charity Challenge is not designed to compete with the larger tournament hosts such as ESPN and USA Today but rather complement those. It empowers those competitors that are already filling out brackets for this year's tournament to also put their hoops knowledge to good use and submit a bracket for their favorite charity as well.

Per the creators of the bracket challenge, "Fans of the NCAA tournament around the country are encouraged to participate in this year's Pick n Roll Charity Challenge because it is a way for all of us to do good for others simply by doing well in your picks."
