The Board of Governors is the governing body of the AAJ (previously known as ATLA -the American Association of Trial Lawyers), and is charged with establishing and approving all Association policies, including the adoption of a three-year budget on an annual basis. Each state trial lawyer organization is represented on the board by two or more governors. Andrew Weinstein represents the Florida Justice Association on the board.
"I believe in the importance of being an active participant in industry-related organizations, and I'm honored to be chosen by my peers to serve on the board." explained Mr. Weinstein.
The AAJ is committed to promoting a fair and effective justice system—and to supporting the work of attorneys in their efforts to ensure that any person who is injured by the misconduct or negligence of others can obtain justice in America's courtrooms, even when taking on the most powerful interests.
