Technovation Solutions Closes 2013 with New Members, Accomplishments

In 2014, the company plans to expand its focus from improving the hospitality customer experience to serving more industry verticals

Technovation Solutions, an integration center showcasing its members' and partners' innovative technology solutions in a simulated end-user lab setting, is celebrating the end of a successful first year, with more accomplishments to come in 2014.

In the company's debut year, Technovation Solutions acquired eight new members: Agilitec IT, a VoIP, business phone systems, and IT and networking services provider; Blue Crossing, a provider of web-based processing, operations and marketing tools; Cisco Meraki, a leader in cloud controlled WiFi, routing, and security solutions; Nevotek, a provider of converged IP solutions; The Rainmaker Group, the leader in profit optimization solutions for the gaming and hospitality industries; RedRock Software, a hospitality supply chain management system provider; SkyWire Media, a developer of mobile applications connecting hospitality marketers and customers; and WorkSpace Communications, a leading cloud provider of unified communications, business process outsourcing, and hosting solutions. Along with support from members; Microsoft, NEC and Cisco also serve in advisory roles and display their technology at the Technovation Center.

The company toured several major hospitality companies through the Technovation Center in 2013 to introduce them to its members' and partners' solutions. These included the Sands Expo Convention Center, Caesars Palace, Station Casinos, University of Nevada Las Vegas, Alliante Casino + Hotel, Southwest Gas, The Palazzo Resort, Shift4, and more. Most recently, the company engaged over 15 entities to demonstrate with Microsoft the benefits of the new Windows 8 features and Microsoft's Perceptive Pixel (PPI) large-format touch displays. The company hosted a number of other events at the Technovation Center during 2013, including a reception geared toward tribal gaming companies during the G2E conference, and a Cisco users group.

Technovation Solutions has built a broad range of user groups in its Las Vegas center, providing opportunities for member technologies to be showcased on an ongoing basis and providing partners with a high-end venue for meetings and events. Technovation Solutions will continue to grow this part of its business in 2014.

"We are thrilled with how our concept has taken off and are honored by the support our members and potential clients have shown this year," said Peg McGregor, CEO of Technovation Solutions. "Our growth will continue in 2014. We anticipate announcing several new members and OEM partners in the early part of the year."

The Technovation Center is known for displaying advanced solutions for the hospitality and gaming industries but in 2014, while continuing to grow its hospitality solutions, it will begin to add focus in healthcare, retail and other sectors. The company is developing several non-hospitality user groups.

Several new customer experience vignettes will be launched by the end of January, and the company will launch a quarterly newsletter for members and partners, in addition to several new collaboration opportunities. To learn more about the benefits of membership, visit www.technovationsolutions.com.
