Online, August 24, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Dallas, Texas - Jaspen Boothe, founder of Virginia based Final Salute Inc. announced today that Cassaundra StJohn has been appointed as a Board Member of the non-profit 501(c)3) organization which believes in paying homeless Female Veterans with the proper respects due to them for the service they have provided to our country. Final Salute also works with the Female Veteran in establishing a plan towards independence.
Cassaundra StJohn is a Business Development Entrepreneur dedicated to building and growing women's businesses in a WHOLE-istic manner. As a United States Air Force Veteran with an MBA in Marketing & International Business, she has built and grown organizations worldwide. She is a serial entrepreneur who has focused her learning and experience on facilitating women in business.
Cassaundra is also the Founder and CEO of Texas-based F7 Group, an organization dedicated to providing Female Veterans and Women in Military Service with Resources, Training, Support and Mentoring through Retreats, Business Boot Camps and Technology based applications.

The Lone Star Retreat is specifically designed for female veterans, women in military service, and women serving beside the uniform. More than a personal development workshop, the Lone Star Retreat is a life-changing experience that incorporates specific tools to empower and encourage personal development, focus for a bright future, and a joyful, visionary life.
ALL women who have served or are serving our country. Veterans, Active Duty, Reserves, Guard; Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Navy, Marines; IN the uniform-you were/are the service member - BESIDE the uniform- you are the woman who stood beside and supported the military person, wives, mothers, partners, sisters, daughters....if you have a direct family member who serves/served, you also serve our country and we want to honor that sacrifice and commitment!
Attendees at this retreat will engage in challenging and empowering sessions that will provide specific steps to equip them for a truly purposeful civilian life- on their own terms. They will learn how to cope with overwhelm that sometimes comes with everyday life. And they will have access to specialized tools for assessment, recognition and appreciation for natural gifts/talents. The weekend at Lone Star Retreat is a place where women can come to be appreciated for who they are and what they have to offer. And even more importantly- for what they are capable of becoming. Women veterans have dedicated their lives for our country, yet when they return from service, they are often expected to manage the personal issues of transition to civilian life with little or no support. Unlike their peers who typically have opportunity to slowly grow into adult civilian life, servicewomen often find they are forced to negotiate a whole new world of independence and overwhelm all at once. The Lone Star Retreat has been specifically shaped to provide an eye-opening experience to create a new vision of hope, empowerment, sisterhood, and inspiration.
