StubHub Center Hosts Celebrity Adaptive Sports Exhibition

Online, October 9, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Formerly the Home Depot Center, home of the LA Galaxy, the StubHub! Center has collaborated with Watering Seeds Organization (WSO) and the city of Carson with the full support of Mayor Jim Dear to present "U.S. Para-Athletes Celebrity Adaptive Sports Exhibition."

On Thursday, November 14th, celebrity guests, professional athletes, and friends of the mainstream media take to the StubHub Tennis Stadium to demonstrate their support for the Carson Veterans Resource Center. Joining these stars will be the world's top Paralympians to compete in both tennis and basketball exhibitions. David Wagner (ITF World #1 and Paralympic Gold Medalist) along with Keith Davis (Paralympian and former member of the Los Angeles Lakers Wheelchair Basketball team) will be competing in addition to hosting Q&A's with the general public and mainstream media.

The day will be presided over and hosted by Jay Davis. Jay is an American actor, stand-up comedian and comedy promoter/producer who garnered nationwide attention after appearing in Dane Cook's Tourgasm, a 30-day cross-country-tour-turned-reality-show which also included Cook, Gary Gulman and Robert Kelly, and was given a 8-episode run on HBO.

Also in attendance and working alongside Jay Davis will be auctioneer Sean Kelly, from Tru TV's Storage Hunters. Sean will be conducting a live and interactive auction featuring celebrity & sports memorabilia, as well as art and once in a lifetime contributions. All proceeds will be donated to WSO in support of the Carson Veterans Resource Center and affiliated sports rehabilitation and wellness programs for Wounded Warriors.
