"Spring Break Ranch Camp" at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch

Sylvan Dale offers a full week "Spring Break Ranch Camp", for kids aged 8-12. Ranch Camp runs Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., 3 different weeks to accommodate spring break periods for Adams, Larimer and Weld County school districts.

Spring Break 2012 is coming - and along with it the usual dilemma of what to do to make it safe, memorable, and entertaining for kids during their time off from school.

Sylvan Dale has been providing memorable experiences since 1946 and new for 2012, Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch offers area youth a full week "Spring Break Ranch Camp". Ranch Camp was specifically created for kids ages eight to twelve (8-12). "Spring Break Ranch Camp" will run Monday through Friday, from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on each of the following weeks to accommodate spring break times for most of the area school districts:

· March 12 - 16 (Ridgeview, Poudre and Weld County School Districts)
· March 26 - 30 (Adams County School District)
· April 2 - 6 (Thompson School District)

Spring Break Ranch Camp will entertain and engage your children in a variety of authentic ranch activities. Every camp activity is designed to help camp participants learn about and gain a greater appreciation for the natural world and the rich Western Lifestyle for which Colorado is famous. Youth will experience exciting trail rides, area hikes, campfire and outdoor activities, ranch animal interaction, and much more.

Spring Break Ranch Camp activities include all these fun activities and more:

· Horse riding lessons
· Trail rides
· Hiking to the top of Eagle Ridge
· Gathering eggs and caring for new foals
· Feeding cows and their new-born calves
· Exploring the Cottonwood Gulch area
· Campfire with marshmallows and S'mores
· Gymkhana events

Parents can rest easy knowing that all Ranch Camp activities are fully adult supervised by experienced Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch staff.

Spring Break Ranch Camp costs just $398.00 per child for the whole week (Monday - Friday), and includes all activities. Morning snacks are provided but each child will need to bring their own lunch.
