RIMES Host Data Governance Conference in London
The RIMES Data Governance Conference will take place in London on 23rd October. Experts in data management and regulation will lead talks and discussions for investment managers and other asset owners on best practice in data governance.
Online, October 1, 2013 (Newswire.com) - The event will be hosted by RIMES - global leader in financial data management services for the buy-side - in association with Investit, a specialist investment management consultancy.
The conference will also see the launch of RIMES' new Data Governance Handbook. The resource is designed to help firms develop and refine their own data management processes in a step-by-step guide to creating a comprehensive data governance structure.
The dramatic increase in data capabilities in recent years, alongside new regulatory standards such as Solvency II, have made efficient management of index and benchmark data a fundamental issue for buy-side firms. Until now, there has been little guidance for on how firms can improve their data governance compliance, cost and efficiency. The RIMES Data Governance Conference and Handbook have both been created to provide that much needed advice.
